- Is the PanelReady resume builder free?
- Yes. Building, editing and exporting a resume are free, and you can start without an account: an anonymous draft is kept in your browser for 24 hours. Creating a free account saves it permanently and unlocks the AI review; the LinkedIn rescan is the only part that needs a paid plan.
- Do I need an account to build a resume?
- No. You can import a file or start from scratch anonymously and export the finished PDF without signing up. An account is required only where an AI model or a metered third-party lookup is involved, because those cost money to run.
- Will my resume actually pass an ATS?
- Every export is validated by re-reading the file you just downloaded and checking that the essential text (your name, employers, dates, and bullets) comes back out in the right order. The ATS-ready badge is only granted when that round-trip passes, so it reflects the real file rather than a claim about the template.
- Does the AI invent achievements or metrics?
- No, and that is enforced in code rather than asked of the model. Any suggested rewrite containing a number or claim that does not already appear somewhere in your resume is blocked from one-click acceptance. Your original text always stays recoverable.
- Can I import an existing resume or my LinkedIn profile?
- Yes. Upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT file up to 10 MB, or import from a LinkedIn profile URL. Scanned PDFs with no text layer are identified honestly instead of silently producing an empty resume.
- What formats can I export to?
- PDF, DOCX and plain text. Each format is rendered from the same certified template and re-checked for machine readability, so the DOCX and the PDF say the same thing to a parser.
