Refund policy

Overview

PanelReady is operated by IDE Host (OPC) Pvt. Ltd.. We strive to provide high-quality AI-powered interview preparation. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for subscriptions and credits purchased through the Service. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.

General refund policy

All sales of subscriptions and credits are generally final. Due to the nature of AI-powered digital services and per-interview usage, once credits are purchased and made available to your account, or a subscription is activated, they cannot be refunded except in the specific circumstances outlined below. By purchasing a plan or credits, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. This policy applies in addition to any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

Eligible refund scenarios

We may issue refunds in the following limited circumstances:

1. Technical issues

If you experience a technical issue with our service that prevents you from using purchased credits or running paid interviews, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe (typically 48-72 hours), you may be eligible for a partial or full refund. Technical issues must be reported to hello@getpanelready.com within 7 days of the purchase.

2. Duplicate charges

If you are accidentally charged multiple times for the same purchase due to a payment-processing error, we will refund the duplicate charges. Please contact us immediately at hello@getpanelready.com with your transaction details.

3. Unauthorized transactions

If you believe a transaction was made without your authorization, please contact us immediately at hello@getpanelready.com. We will investigate the claim and may issue a refund if the transaction is confirmed to be unauthorized. You may also need to contact your payment provider.

4. Service unavailability

If our service experiences extended downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours) that prevents you from using your purchased credits or running live interviews, you may be eligible for a prorated refund or credit extension. This does not apply to scheduled maintenance or brief service interruptions.

Non-refundable situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Credits that have already been used or partially used.
  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse after purchase.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated feedback, scoring band, or output quality. (Interview-prep feedback is software output, not a coaching service — see the Terms of Service.)
  • Failure to use credits before their expiration date.
  • Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service (including using PanelReady during a real, live interview).
  • Subscription cancellations — subscriptions remain active until the end of the paid period and no refund is issued for the remaining time in the current billing period.
  • Unused credits from promotional offers or free trials.

Subscription cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing screen. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits during this time. No refund will be issued for the remaining time in your current billing period. After the period ends, you will not be charged again, and your account will revert to the Free tier.

Credit expiration

Purchased credits are valid for the duration specified at the time of purchase (typically 30, 90, or 365 days depending on the plan). Credits that expire due to non-use are not eligible for refunds. We recommend monitoring your credit balance and expiration dates in your dashboard.

Cohort & Institution plans

Cohort and Institution contracts are governed by the master services agreement (MSA) signed with us. The MSA terms control over this policy where the two conflict. In the absence of contradictory MSA language, the four eligible-refund scenarios above apply on a pro-rata seat basis, and renewals are not refundable past the first 14 days of the renewed term.

Refund request process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at hello@getpanelready.com from the email address on your account.
  2. Include your account email, transaction ID, and a detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
  3. Provide any relevant screenshots or documentation supporting your claim.
  4. Allow up to 5-7 business days for our team to review your request.

We will review each refund request on a case-by-case basis. If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited back to the original payment method.

Payment processing

Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider. Refunds, when approved, are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to reflect the refund on your statement — that is outside our control once we have issued the refund on our end.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue, your account may be suspended or terminated. We encourage you to contact our team first to resolve any billing disputes. Chargebacks may result in the permanent suspension of your account and forfeiture of any remaining credits or subscription benefits.

Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of PanelReady after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
